MYX LEE
Tier Pod Teaching Artist/Art
Born and raised in NYC, Myx Lee began showing a keen interest in art at the age of six years old. They graduated from the infamous Fiorello LaGuardia High School, and received their Bachelor's in Fine Arts from SUNY Purchase College located in Purchase, New York. Myx is a commissioned artist with a focus on drawing and sculpture. They teach online visual arts classes to children internationally.
SOUL LEE
Tier Pod Teaching Artist/Dance
Soul Lee is a native New Yorker who started her training as a dancer at the age of four years old. She graduated from the infamous Fiorello LaGuardia High School, majoring in dance with a focus on ballet. She then attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, receiving a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance. Soul has worked with numerous choreographers and has a wide range of techniques and styles. She teachers online dance classes to students internationally.
DAVID BROWN
Tier Pod Art Director
David Brown is a native New Yorker who was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens. His older brother, Fred, bought him his first drum set when he was fourteen years old. He's played drums now for over 30 years and has travelled extensively in the United States and abroad, sharing his gift and his love of music.
OLAWA GIBSON
Tier Pod Program Director
Olawa Gibson is the founding director of Tier Pod Program and has worked in the field of education for 18 years. Olawa received her Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University at Buffalo, and pursued her Master's in Education at City College, a part of the CUNY system. She then went on to further her education at the College of Staten Island where she received an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership. She has worked in private, public, and charter schools across New York City, and was also a founding member of a charter school located in Brooklyn, New York. Her professional development includes training at Harvard, Yale, and Columbia Universities.
